RefleXion Debuts Next-Generation Platform with 20X Greater Sensitivity to Power SCINTIX Therapy at AAPM 2026

X2 platform detects substantially more biologic signal to enable new algorithms that potentially expand SCINTIX autonomous radiotherapy to additional tumor types

HAYWARD, Calif., July 16, 2026 — RefleXion Medical, an external beam theranostic oncology company, today announced that clinician researchers from leading institutions will present nine scientific studies featuring the new RefleXion® X2 platform at the 2026 American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Annual Meeting, July 19–22, in Vancouver, B.C. Together these studies characterize the effect of Anchor PointTM Tracking, a new algorithm, that significantly improves the precision of SCINTIX® therapy and potentially allows it to address a wider range of tumor sizes and shapes.

AAPM 2026 marks an important milestone in the evolution of SCINTIX therapy. The new X2 platform delivers a 20-fold increase in PET sensitivity, providing substantially richer biologic data to power Anchor Point Tracking, and creating a foundation that we believe could vastly expand SCINTIX therapy eligibility.
